CHS Homecoming Festival Brings School Spirit to New School Year

Homecoming is 9/11 through 9/15 at the school, while the football game is held at Jeffco Stadium that Friday Night. The week leading up to the dance is called “Spirit Week” and involves the students dressing up for a theme. The themes can include but are not limited to, Greek, college, generations, and tourist. Friday is always rebel day, a day in which students show their pride in the school by wearing school apparel

The Friday before the dance holds the homecoming assembly. This is intended to boost morale among the student body and get students prepared for the homecoming night. Later that friday night at jeffco stadium at the homecoming football game between Columbine and Bear Creek.

The Saturday hosts the Homecoming dance at the CHS gym from 8PM to 11PM. All students are allowed to attend and entry costs $15. It is intended for students to see friends they have not seen all summer in a formal setting as well as a place to take a date on a well, date.

Tickets cost $15 in advance in the commons or $20 at the door. Guests are allowed with Permission Form. This form must be submitted two days prior to the dance
