Columbine High School kicks off its annual Homecoming Week Sept 9 in Littleton CO to celebrate 2019 school year.
Starting on Monday the week of homecoming the school have a spirit week. Spirit week is where all the students dress up into the category the senate of the school gives us. Everyday of the week is a different category. The categories can either be goofy or cool. For whoever dresses up for spirit week, a team member from senate gives you a token. Whichever class has the most tokens wins spirit week. Spirit week shows off which class has the most spirit in the school.
Tueday September 10th is a bond fire. The bond fire starts at 8:30 till 10. Students hang out near the soccer fields. They play are games and music. Columbine gets food trucks for food. This event is a lot of fun for students.
Friday the day before homecoming is the football game. It’s the biggest football game of the year. Students, families, and friends come and support the Columbine Rebels football team. The game starts at 4:30 at Jeffco Stadium.
For a lot of students homcoming is the best week.
