October 6th at Columbine is the Joey Santaniello Walk is open to the Community to raise money for the Challenge Program at Columbine High School.
The Joey Santaniello Walk is a Student-run program for the Challenge program at Columbine. Many people organize the walk, such as the artists, social media managers and writers contribute to the walk. They make animated gifs, websites, posters, t-shirts to advertize for this amazing event.Lots of Students cheer on the runners. All of our work brought 218 people last year.
Sadly, Joey Santaniello died in 2018. It was right after his Columbine graduation. He loved his time at Columbine. He was one of the most important parts of the Challenge program.
Last year, this race almost doubled the funding of the Challenge program. It brought in lots of new opertunities for the kids. Last year we had 218 people go. We are aiming for more this year. Come Join us on October 10th. It will be fun.
