Columbine Hosts Homecoming Week

Many Fun Actvities/Events Planned

Columbine High School hosts it's annual Homecoming week September 9th in Littleton, CO to kick off the start of the school year.

Several events happen during Homecoming week such as spirit week. The first day is trix day, or tie dye day. Students are supposed to wear tie dye clothes on monday. The next day is fruit loops or tacky tourist day, students will wear tourist gear on tuesday. On wednesday the theme is wheaties or sports gear day, students will wear their favorite teams sports jerseys. Thursday is corn flakes or cowboy day, where students will wear their cowboy/rodeo gear. Finally, Friday is frosted flakes or rebel day, students wear their Columbine gear, jerseys, shirts, hats, ect.

There is an event on tuesday, called the bonfire. This is an event where a lot of students gather around a bonfire. Outside of Columbine High School.

On September 13th, the Homecoming football game is played. This is where the srudents all congregate at the Jeffco stadium. It's a good oppurtunity to socialize before the Homecoming dance.

The next day, on September 14th, is the Homecoming dance. The dance will be hosted in the Columbine gym. People normally go with a date or groups of friends. The Homecoming dance is a great time to meet new people and get involved in the activitys at Columbine.
