The week of September 9, Columbine High School will have many events, where former students, current students, and family comes together to uphold true Columbine spirit! There is a volleyball and football game, bonfire, and assembly! This week is filled with spirit that concludes with a Homecoming dance on Saturday evening!
Tuesday, September 10th, the Columbine Varsity Volleyball team is hosting a game against Liberty High School! Come cheer on Volleyball at 6:30 in the CHS gym! Following the game, there will be a bonfire in the lower parking lot from 8:30-10! There will be food trucks, music, games, and a performance put on by Columbine students!
Columbine is known for having the best assemblies! At the end of the week, Friday the 13th, the student body will be entertained in the gym from 9 to 10:45! Family and friends are welcome to attend the assembly that many students and staff work hard to put together. Each assembly has a theme; this year, the theme is “Cereal”. There will be performances from the Poms and Cheer teams, as well as a “guy-cheer” routine, royalty will be announced and Mr. Christy will close with a motivational speech!
After school on Friday, there will be a Homecoming football game against Fountain Fort Carson! Come cheer on the Rebels from 4-6 at Jeffco Stadium! There will be a halftime performance put on by the Poms team! Former students and families from CHS are encouraged to come enjoy the biggest game of the year!
Columbine's Homecoming spirit week is one of the best weeks of highschool! It is the definition of the traditional American high school experience! Homecoming week brings friends, family, and former Columbine alumnus together!
