I am an American student who is passionate about learning foreign languages. I am currently 17 years old, and able to speak, read, and write at an intermediate level in 3 foreign languages:
Spanish, German, and Mandarin Chinese.
I am also able to communicate with the hard of hearing using PSE sign language. I have extensively experimented with many language learning software programs, including the Pimsleur Method, Rosetta Stone, Duolingo, and Babbel.
I have further taught myself using phone applications, books, and speaking with natives. I believe anyone can learn a foreign language if they have the passion and practice every day using proven methods. Someday, I hope to teach others that have the same passion as I do, and to break down our language barriers one word at a time.
