Welcome to Gillian Spencer's website
Hello, I am Gillian Spencer and I use technology in many different ways everyday. I enjoy spending my time on a lot of different things but technology is one that I use the most. I was in RNN last year and I would work with adobe premiere to edit videos and explore different things in premiere. I also am just joining graphic design and will work with adobe illustrator this semester. I am always on technology of some kind and I use it everyday.
I did a lot of fun things this summer but the best thing by far was going camping for a week with my boyfriend and his family. We went to Taylor park. We got to go all around Taylor park and I had never gone there before. We got to ride on his side by side and our campsite was right next to a river. We got to go to Crested Butte as well. When we were at Crested Butte we went on an hour and a half hike where we were on top of a mountain and it was a beautiful view. Although we had to go home early it was an amazing trip and I’ll never forget it.
In this class I hope to learn how to make a game. I also just want to learn more about the technology I use everyday and some of the stuff that goes into what computers are coded with. I hope to learn how to be efficient in coding as well.
To create new ideas on the computer you have to have a creative mind and you have to be able to take an idea that you create and implement it into something you create on the computer. Personally it takes a while to think of something I like and i look off what other people have made and gain inspiration from their creations. When you are able to create something that you’ve made you can feel accomplished. Most people would start with thinking about an idea and getting a feel for what they are going to create before they even think about moving onto creating on the computer.
The process with which everyone takes is very different and people can all create differently. There are many different ways
to implement the thoughts about what your creation can be. Currently I am in Seven different classes.
