Hi. My name is Rachel. Technology is an important aspect of my life. Then again, it’s an important aspect of everyone’s life. Technology is used in school, at work, and at home. Even some of the most mundane tasks require technology such as contacting a friend, setting an alarm, or making a payment. Even the majority of cars are chock full of technology, from the navigation system to the fob. I help my parents around the house with easy technological problems, such as the “printer isn’t working” or “my phone isn’t charging”. I was also part of a student “tech squad” at my old school and helped with basic technological problems around the school. I’m far from being a pro, but I’m definitely familiar with technology and programming.
I went tubing a lot this summer along the South Platte River. I also went “camping” in an RV for the first time. Though, I don’t think you can tuley call it camping when you have a fridge full of cold drinks, a TV, and air conditioning. Even so, the night sky was beautiful (almost no light pollution).
I hope to get a more in depth knowledge of programming. Block coding’s great and all, but I’m really ready for more of a challenge.
