This class is going to be an introduction to media class with a focus on graphic design. If you wondered what happened to courses teaching Adobe, you can find them HERE! At the beginning of the school year, however, ALL Hansen's Entertainment couses will include some graphic design as we build a common vocabulary, build fundamental skills & start to develop specializations. Therefore, you may not be great at everything but hope you'll find your favorite art specialty you enjoy while trying a little bit of everything.

This class will include a number of projects including: promotional advertisement, who am I short film, logo and branding, my first 2d animation, etc, all the while building on the fundamental concepts of art, design, and informational-entertainment value.

Multimedia will include Graphic Design and making files work on all kinds of media

Now that we are learning remotely, on our first day, you can expect:

• Signup for Remind so you can ask a question and get quick answers from the teacher
• Create and share google doc (long list of daily work from class all in one place shared with hansensclasses@gmail.com)
• Survey of what you know and what you want to know
• Overview Discussion on how this class will function online
• Introductions -- this may be over group video chat?
• Short Film??
• Check-in to see how your technology is working & if you need to reset your chromebook (if you didn't read the fine print, 'checked yes to everything and agreed to all the add-ons, you might have slowed it down so much it barely runs; I KNOW there are some of you in this class!!!). Luckily, because I use this website for class, it will work on any internet device you an view on.
• Due Dates: assignments are due on the date that is listed by 11:59 pm. If something came up & you need an extention, ASK!
