Columbine's Fall Joey Santaniello Walk For All 5K Several CHS classes participated in the Joey Santaniello Walk for All 5k to raise awareness and funds for Columbine's Significant Support Needs Program. Recognized as the CHS Inspiration of the Week, the event proved a unilateral success. When we all work together we can indeed accomplish more. Honor Society, Programming, Animation, APCSP, Business, Spanish, Cheer, Yearbook, Unity in Action students and more were involved in this student-run Walk Fundraiser making it a HUGE success! Upon the increase of class participation, the event also incurred a 36%+ increase in registered participants and more than doubled the amount raised for this program! Support CHSAF, The Frank DeAngelis Columbine High Schools Academic Foundation by helping to provide important educational tools to empower teachers, ensure that CHS students meet the rigorous standards set by Jefferson County Public Schools, and prepare them for the 21st-century workplace.

Part of being a part of Columbine has been connected to giving back to one's own community. Columbine's annual Day of Service - April 20, was adopted as a statewide volunteer day by CO Gov Polis in 2019, remembering the 20th Anniversary of the country's first major school shooting. This day involves MANY communities, governments and student organizations world wide. CHS Rebel students produce an annual list of volunteer Service Projects or join consider joining Computer Science's "Teens Teach Tech" to Elders 4/20 at Littleton Public Library in Clement Park (Project Details)
